To avoid box office convenience fees, you may purchase tickets directly from the Society of Professional Journalists securely through Paypal below. Tickets are $50, or $40 if you are attending the show (show tickets are available only through Select-A-Seat). After choosing a ticket option, you will be asked about the quantity of tickets you want to purchase. You will be charged $1 shipping and handling on your order and will receive your tickets in the mail before the event.
Held at the Orpheum after the Friday show, the Randy Brown Curtain Call features music by Pop and the Boys. Tickets include after-show nibbles, two drink coupons (plus a cash bar) and a free Riverfest button.
Proceeds from the party will go toward the SPJ's new Randy Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund. Randy Brown was a long-time Wichita journalist, Gridironer and advocate for transparency in government. He also taught at Wichita State University and led the Kansas Sunshine Coalition for Open Government. He died in 2014.
